POSTAGE FEES
When you spend more than $275 on our site, you
qualify for FREIGHT FREE delivery. Although this offer covers most of the items
we sell online, this promotion excludes international orders and certain bulky items, such as (but not limited to) --
* Power Equipment (chainsaws, brushcutters, trimmers, blowers, power pruners, mowers, etc.)
* Kohler Engines
* Poles that exceed a certain length
* Ropes that exceed a certain weight (when purchased in bulk)
* Log Lifters
... other items that the Australian Post Office would normally add a surcharge
on
Generally, items on our site that have freight surcharges are indicated
with a Freight Quote option. You have the option to request for a
freight quote prior to delivery. If requested, quote approval will be
required before the goods are released from our warehouse. If not
requested, the goods will be delivered ASAP, and any surcharges
incurred will automatically be added to your acount.
When
goods are ordered via COD, the Australian Post Office adds a surcharge of $8.70
in addition to the postage cost. This fee includes insurance cover for the first
$100 of value. For items valued over $100, an additional $1.10 per $100, or part
thereof, shall be added.
When goods are ordered and
the bill falls on or below $275, you shall be charged for all
postage fees required for New Age Arbor Pty Ltd to deliver the items as
quickly as possible to the destination address. On most of our items,
this is anywhere from $5 to $20, depending on weight (see exclusions
above). The shopping cart will provide you with the postage
cost during the checkout stage. If the postage cost is unacceptable, you may cancel your order, or call New Age Arbor Pty Ltd at
13000-ARBOR (27267) and arrange for alternative delivery methods. A
pick-up option is also available.
DELIVERY
Generally, items are delivered within 3 to 5 business days, however, this may vary depending on location. New
Age Arbor Pty Ltd make no guarantee once the goods have been passed on
to third party couriers or the Australian Post Office.
If an item is out-of-stock, you will be notified of any
potential delivery delay. If an out-of-stock item is delaying a
delivery of several other items in-stock, you will then have
the option of waiting for the out-of-stock item to arrive, or splitting
the deliveries. In the event of a split delivery, you agree
to shoulder the cost of both deliveries.
Please
note that many of our items are not deliverable to a PO Box. On the checkout
page, you will need to supply us with a street address for delivery. If you are
not home to receive your package at the time of delivery, you may be charged a
second delivery fee. If you would prefer us to leave the item at yout doorstep,
please notify us at the checkout page.
