Eddy Belay Device. The Eddy has established itself to many loyal users since its introduction in 2005. The Eddy is simple and safe, easy to thread with the rope following logically the rope flow. A controlled descent with an emergency break system eliminates the "panic pull" syndrome which can lead to serious accidents. The Eddy provides maximum safety whether top roping or lead climbing with easy paying out of rope to the leader.

For ropes between 9 and 11 mm in diameter.

Petzl Self-Braking Descender (Small). Self-braking descender belay device with anti-panic function. For descending a rope and for belaying. Anti-error safety catch to reduce the risk of an accident due to incorrect installation of the device on the rope. If the user pulls too hard on the handle, the cam will lock on the rope. Weight: 530g.

For ropes between 10 and 11.5 mm in diameter.

SRTE Rescue 8 Descender (Small) [Product Code: F8R8S]

SRTE Rescue 8 Descender (Small). The SRTE Rescue 8 can be used for a number of different purposes including descending and belaying. Unlike normal figure 8 descenders, this units has built-in "ears" that prevent a girth hitch forming (eg. if all the slack is not taken up on a normal figure 8 when load is applied, the bite in the rope could jump the larger hole, locking the descender off completely). With the SRTE Rescue 8, this will not happen as the bite in the rope will be caught by the protruding ears. Weight: 155g.

STRE Goldtail Descender [Product Code: ASGT16]

SRTE Goldtail Descender. Primarily used for descending, however an increasing number of Emergency Service Personnel are using them in Hauling Systems for belaying. Friction on the goldtails are controlled by winding the rope through the appropriate number of slots. Friction can be varied while rappelling by increasing or decreasing the number of slots the rope goes through. For added protection, all slots have gates to prevent the rope from coming out accidentally. Weight: 527g.
